Recording is over and we were lucky enough to have our friends Daniel Fabelo, Drew Daniels, Romina Olson, and Ruwan Perera come and film the entire thing. They've gone ahead and thrown together some footage of us doing a take of "Drown Me in the River".

Sound is from the camera, FYI. Expect the CD to be ready in early 2011.

So over this past week or two we've been hard at work writing music for The Psyche Project - a play being put on by some MFA students here at the University of Texas at Austin. It's an adaptation of the Greek myth of Eros (Cupid) and Psyche. It's been described as "fast, funny, and irreverent", and we've definitely seen a good deal of that.

It's going to be crazy over the next week as Nick Gregg tries to get as much done before he leaves for China, but he'll still write while he's over there as he'll have his computer and internet access. Also on-board we've got Jon Cook and Nick Hurt of Speak. Needless to say, this is going to be a pretty sweet soundtrack.
