According to its Wikipedia article, brain tumours comprise 1.4% of all cancers found in the U.S. In the year 2005 alone, 43,800 new cases were diagnosed. They are a very serious thing, and can have multiple negative repercussions. Arming oneself with knowledge is the best way to take precautions.

In 2001, At the early age of 41, she underwent brain surgery. In February of this year, Cindy Burgess was diagnosed with a recurrence of her 2001 brain tumour.
